1988 bonneville

ok, here goes. hope someone can help.

i bought a 88 bonneville and its not firing on cylinders 2 or 5,i dont have any fire at the coil pack its the 3.8 "c" engine. i have done the following thus far:

new plugs and wires
new ignition module
new coil pack
new crank sensor
compression test is good on both cylinders

im outta ideas guys....
any ideas???

Make sure the icm is properly grounded ,check for poor connections at the icm ,wiggle the the wires at the icm check the harness from the cps, switch coils around see if the miss moves if the coils are seperate.

thanks for the reply. grounds and wires look good at both ends the miss never jumps, also this coil pack is all one piece so i cant swap the coils around thats why i just replaced it

If you have an open wire you will not see any spark jumping, but I assume you are past that. So the icm and coil pack did not change anything? Same 2 and 5?. A weak signal from the cps can cause this or a damaged reluctor on the balancer.
