Stock Radio Problem

I don't know what has happen to my radio it was working just fine and then quit. The lights and everything are working I just can't get any sound from any of the speakers. The time and station are still there.. I have tried everything that I know to do.

Has this ever happen to any of you? If it has, what did you do to fix it?

Please help....

Re: Stock Radio Problem

If you turn the tuner does the display change channels? The display lights are on a different circuit from the radio power. Is the radio fuse blown?

Re: Stock Radio Problem

It could be that your output amplifier circuit inthe radio itself tok a dump. Can you smell anything near the radio, like an ozone or burnt smell???

Re: Stock Radio Problem

I know the smell that your talking about.. And I can't smell anything. I took the radio out and still can't smell anything. Do you know of a way to test it?

I'm running out of things to try.

Re: Stock Radio Problem

If ou or a friend have an old set of speakers and some extra wire you can test the output from the radio just to make sure that there is an output.
