New Resin Kits lots of pics!!!

I got a bunch of new resin over the past week and thought id give you all a peek. Everything was ordered from Strada sport or bought at NNL East from Island Collectibles and HRM.

First i got the Reniassance DBR9 finally. Its been talked about over and over and yes there are some issues with the body being symmetrical but that aside this is a very nice kit. It has the highest part count of all the kits and will build into a nice car with some TLC. B

I also got the Reniassance Nissan R390 Trans-kit for the 98 long tail version. Very nice body needs little work. Decal sheet is very nice as well. Also comes with some PE and ducts and a few turned aluminum pieces. This kit could have maybe been a little cheaper but over-all im pleased. B

Next is the Scale Productions Murcielago R-GT Trans-kit. This is an awesome kit. It is of the highest quality of all the kits i bought. The brakes are incredible as well as everything else. top notch! A+++

This is the Scale Coachworks Kremer K3 Porsche 935 Apple Computer. Well i just bought this because of the Livery. And let me tell you that the decals are incredible. The kit is OK, its very basic and not much detail. the roll bar is really bad and its cast on a resin plate. It will probably have to be scratch built and this kit will take some work to look good. C

This is the Quik Skins Audi A4. It is cast with very high quality to say the least. Very Clean and crisp. This was the first full kit they put out and i hear each new kit has gotten better and better. Im impressed with this kit, though it only has resin parts, no PE but its claimed that its to keep the price down. Very nice kit but will need some detailing. I look forward to purchasing more kits from this copmpany. B+

Speedlines brand new FIA M3 Red Bull. This is the new full kit. Previously they offered a trans-kit for the Dragon M3 but since they are becoming hard to find they released this. I believe this was releasede by Speedline but with help from Quik Skins and offers the same high quality as the A4. It also comes with decals for 4 other cars, 2 911's, a 360, and a 550. Very cool added bonus! Again this will take some detailing but all in all will build up easily for a resin kit. A-

this the full engine kit for all the Fujimi Porsche 917's by Historic Racing Miniatures. This is awesome top notch Maryland resin. These Mrayland guys are great resin casters, and this kit is great. There is a bit of modifing that needs to be done to the Fujimi parts but this kit provides every thing you need to build it full detail. Gas tanks, big and small for different races. Suspension components and lots more, highly recommended! A+

Hope you all enjoyed and if you want any further details of any of the kits just ask!

That is a huge haul, should keep you busy for quite some time.
Recieved my Murcielago R-GT transkit the other day, from Kevin at Strada Sports too. I was a bit dissapointed to notice that both of the clear tail light sections are badly marked in my copy. A shame, as being clear they are just about the only parts that are impossible to fix.

Re: New Resin Kits lots of pics!!!

Thank you for the reviews.

I´ve got the Aston Martin and, planning to buy the M3 (already got the Quick Skins transkit, for the Yokohama/First Union version). Also considered the 935 K3, but try to hold on to Renaissance releasing their K3 "Numero Reserve", the Le Mans winner.

Just received the Speedline 936 "Black Devil".

Enjoy!
