EDIT- How is signing my name on some form, and wearing a wristband going to fight AIDS?! I'm not fucking monkeys, whether I sign that thing or not. I'm not out whoring myself around and neither is my wife. I guess I'll "fight" AIDS by being loyal to my wife.

How is putting my email address online going to help poor people get money (I'm "poor" by todays standards), or cure aids?

I donate to charity, and give blood when possibly. I'm not wearing a bracelet or putting my e-mail online for spammers to attack me anymore than they already are.

^it may. I dunno, its just some petition thing. my friend was telling me about it. apparently the US gives only 3/4 of a percent to help and this petition will try and raise it to a whole 1%. hmm, next thing you know, we'll be hugging trees.

this petition is similar to voting.
it simply shows the govt just how many people are interested in raising AIDS funding.

Signing that will probably not help do anything for AIDS. They will only do the following things:

1. Ask for money, and keep like 80% for administrative fees. No thanks.
2. Harass you with mail, email and phone calls. No thanks.

you don't put an adress
and you give an email adress you only use for spam and shit

I'm sure more than half of you have AIM, well, there's an AIM mail adress you can use. besides, wether it actually helps in truth or not, it takes you 15 fucken seconds, its not gonna make you go out of ur way. sry, im just surprised at all the negative response. i didn't even think twice, as long as there no real personal info being given.

People who contract AIDs thru drug use or promiscuous sexual activity should just be shot or otherwise put out of their misery - it was their choice to expose themselves to the disease.

That way AIDs funding would be used to treat people who didn't have that choice - I mean people who got AIDs thru contaminated blood transfusions or were born with it...
