A new stall to my "92 lumina
I have a '92 euro with 234k. she starts right up, idles fine for about 2 min, then starts missing badly, finally dying altogether. then she starts right back up and everything is fine after that. its a mystery. no codes. fuel filter is new. can you narrow my search? Thank you!

Re: A new stall to my "92 lumina
Since it starts up afterward and then runs fine, I'd say you have a bad or gummed up IAC (Idle Air Control) motor. It is mounted to the side of the throttle body with 2 screws and has a plunger which moves in and out. It serves the same purpose as a choke on a carburetor. If it's been a while since you've done a tune-up, bad plugs and wires will do the same thing.
