just got a new job, need a better car now~!

i have an 89 rust bucket... i mean cavalier 2 door coupe L4....

its killing me.. i love it and hate it at the same time and i'm thinking it may be time to let her sit back and give us some time apart.. i'm looking for something 2002 and later and a little bit bigger but somewhat gas efficient..

my budget is like 7,000-14,000 what do you all recommend?

(NOTE: i prefer chevy, then GM, then American, then walking.)

Re: just got a new job, need a better car now~!

Take a look throughout the various sub forums in Chevrolet to get an idea of cars you might be interested in. These forums are a sounding board for problems with a particular make, as well as, positive comments from owners of these vehicles. Some possibilities include: Impala, Malibu, Monte Carlo to name a few. These cars were mass produced and there are a lot of them out there, bringing the price down a bit into your desired price range. Good Luck!
