alternater plug

on my 94 SL1 SOHC the appears to a plug of some sort, i have no idea what exactly its suppose to do. well theres a black wire on this pluck thats been cut and it looks like it might be a ground wire or something. i was curious if anyone knows what this plug is suppose to do and what it goes to so that i could try to reconnect it? thanx

If there is nothing within reach that it fits, I wouldn't worry about it. Its probably for some option that your car wasn't ordered with. It's cheaper to build one wiring harness to fit all the cars and just leave stuff unplugged that doesn't get used on a specific car.

well there is bare wire showin like its been ripped or torn from somethin. in any case if anyone even know what im talkin about can you tell me what this plug is suppose to do so i can try to figure out if it workin properly.
