Do you put liscense plates on your model cars?

I hardly ever do. Without liscense plates the cars have that new car look.

I think it depends on the look of the car

I hate the way kit license plates look. They're too fat, IMO. I'm working on a way to make my own... I'll let you guys know if I ever get anywhere with it...

you can always buy the aftermarket plate frames and use styrene sheets to make thinner plates. I put them on because i never think to fill in the holes before i paint the model and i dont want to have holes on the finished model.

For street cars, ALWAYS! I like the worn street look. I guess I'm not a show room car kind of guy.

BTW, does anyone have extra of these licencing decals for the windshield that I can get?

I just recently printed off some number plates fpr my ITR, They have Califonia backings and say "Xceler8" as in "Accelerate"
I printed them on Photo paper (shiny stuff).
http://www.acme.com/licensemaker/ - makes them for you,
http://www.rtbrandon.com/blankplates/ - backings of Number plates.

most times, I really like the Plates that say the brand or name of the car...... it would also be nice to have the wider, thinner european plates for the import cars.
