I need help for the body of my models
please, wite me if you use bombs or a compressor for the bodies, which of these is better and all the passages to paint a perfect body

by bombs you mean those cans of compressed air? if so than i'd say go for the compressor since it will pay for itself the more you use it and it provides a more reliable constant flow of air to the airbrush. Those are the reasons i broke down and bought a compressor

"Bombs" = Spray cans, rattle cans, etc... as opposed to an airbrush...
I still use spray cans quite a bit.

I've never heard of cans referred to as bombs. Now, they obviously got this nickname the hard way. That means there are some extremely funny (or not so funny if you have one explode on you) stories out there. Please share...:hehehe:

I dont own a sray gun, all my models are done wih cans.
Its to bloody dear to buy a spray gun here in NZ

With Tamiya Primet/Paint/Clear system I can paint really nice jobs that wehn compared to a real cars paint........beauty.
I think P man is prof that a airbrush is NOT required in this hobby.

The finish from a "bomb" is tons better than the finish you would get from a regular brush.
Still deciding if I should splurge on an airbrush and compressor. The drawback i think of using an airbrush or a bomb is the amount of masking that you have to do. Not a very appealing thought. But the airbrush does let you do some really cool things that a regular brush or bomb will not. Still, it's really expensive here. :alien2:
