Custom Graphics - IDEAS!!!

I'm starting to put together ideas for car graphics to be made as decals. I have loads of designs and ideas already, but i would like to hear all your suggestions too. Please post any pics of cool looking cars you've found and let me know what logo's would be good and what colours you would like to see.

Thanks

You will create this decals FOTW?
That's a doubt I have in mind for quite some time.I know that is possible for us to create our own decals, but where can I get the paper to print them? And can I use a standard 600 our 1200 dpi colour printer?
I don't know about the quality of this "home made" decals, but it would be great do create new colour schemes and pilot versions or tobacco publicity that don't came with the models.
It would be great also to have a backup of decals from various models in a way that if someone is building a model and ruin the decal I can send him a copy of my decals so he can print them and apply them in the model.

I dont know much about home made decals but to get really good results you will need an ALPS printer which uses a different printing method to inkjets and laser printers. You can also print loads of different colours with them including silver, gold and white.

The decals that I am talking about will be proper silk screen printed decals done profesionally for me. I shall probably do a range with stripes, tears, racing and tuning logos and perhaps hood decals too.

What y'all think???

I think that's a great idea. I like to see custom paints and decals on tuned vehicles.
For sure you should go for hood decals to use in the interiors. How much will cost you?
I was surfing to find information and prices of ALPS printers and I found this:

This way we can use a normal inkjet printer and then apply a krylon acrylic crystal clear high gloss spray for the final touch.
I will probably try this one first, it may be enough for I to create my Marlboro and West decals.
Eventually later I will go for a ALPS printer for more complex and detailed motives.

I guess you could go for all the company after-markets, ex. Mugen, TRD, Nizmo, etc., etc. Eibach, Bomex, Veilside, will all look good!!! Also, to promote your site, make "Scale Auto Style" ones!!
