I have a cassette tape that is stuck in the player. Any advice on how to remove it?

Re: Stuck cassette tape

Yes, if you want to save the tape you have to take the tape\cd player out of the dash. If you don't want to save the tape you still have to take the tape\cd player out of the dash. Then you have to take the player apart and then maybe you will find some way to get the tape out. My Mom has a 98 Buick Regal and a tape got stuck and I had to take the whole stereo out. Then I went to a junk yard and got a tape player only for a buick car from that era, and swaped the tape player portion out of the tape player of another buick and took the cd\tape player tape portion out and I now have a new working tape player. Hope I made sense.

Re: Stuck cassette tape

I agree. That's the best thing to do if you want to have a working tape deck. You'll be able to get your tape out too. You'll just need to be comfortable working with electronics.
