Clicking Noises??

I have a 2002 Focus and it just got repaired for brake problems and check engine light fixed, well since it was "fixed" there are now clicking noises by the drivers side near the fuse box. It would only click when the car was stopped, but now it is clicking when the car is moving, also the fuel gauge would flicker from half to full and go back and forth, and then when I turned off the car it went back to what the gas was....I am going to take it in today, but I thought I would hear others ideas of what it could be before going.
Thanks

Re: Clicking Noises??

did you figure out what was wrong? my zx5 started doing the same thing after i changed my alternator. it happens when i press on or off the gas pedal. my mechanic father-in-law said it might be a loose wire causing a relay to click. too bad he lives 2000 miles away.

Re: Clicking Noises??

what was the problem? My 2000 zts is now doing the same thing. I was dribing last night and my car shut off as I was driving, headlights blinked off and gas gauge jump to empty and then it just contiued like nothing happened. I tried to start it today and now it won't start. No lights, no radio, no nothing. kinda like there is no battery. The battery is one week old and now there is a clicking noise in the area of the fuse box. It clicks constantly whether the key is in or not. And my car will not lock now at all
