I knoe the AEM intakes are better than generics but I was wondering whts the difference Can you guys tell me the difference between the generic and an AEM intake???. Cause I can get the generic for $ 65 w/air filter and the AEM is $200.
Also they told me theres a way to clear the whole front lights. My accord has this orange stripe under the headlights and believe me it bugs!!! so I want to just take that out. I have this friend that told me you can use Silicon Sealen or some zord of glue I think? and thats way cheper than getting the whole thing. What do u think I should do??????????????????? thankz! laterz

if the generic is still a CAI then you shouldnt notice too much of a difference. just make sure the tubing has roughly the same diameter as the name-brand tubes and you should be fine. check to see what it is made out of also. if there is not too much in there insulating the air, or if it is just bare metal, give it a couple coats of paint inside and out and you will be set.
as for the piece of plastic in the headlights, if you feel confident about opening your sealed headlights then i say go for it. just remember that if you fuck anything up its about $250 for a new set of headlights like the ones you have now. talk to some people and find someone that has done it already. ask them what is involved and look to see how well theirs turned out. or you can just buy a new set if it bothers you that much.
