86 civic engine into 95 civic
Both are 1.5liter engines. Can I do it. Can I take the 86 engine and bolt it to a 95 civic tranny, manual for both and will the mounts work? Let me know please. The engine from the 86 is so sweet and runs like a kitten purring. The engine does not have that many miles on it and it has so much power. Is a fuel injected model.

Re: 86 civic engine into 95 civic
mounts won't work unless you can modify the hell out of them. 92-95 engines have "lean" that won't line up with anything pre-92. unless you mod it of course. hard to do.

You do relize those engines are only $100 and change, right? -Wes
