Re: turbo/intercooler

running the pipes that long would give you tremendous turbo lag. I know some people in MR2's actually mount the IC in the trunk, then cut the trunk to allow air through. This may be the only way.

On a side note, what turbo do you plan on using?

Re: turbo/intercooler

i dont know yet but i went to the daytona car show on sat and i saw the mount that you were talking about but it seems like there would be too much heat comming from the engine there. one of my friends said that i might be able to do a side mount with a Saab intercooler on the pass. side. i still think i am going to do the 3800 SC

Re: turbo/intercooler

why not jus go with an air/water? im workin on my 3.4L DOHC turbo swap. i was gonna go with a FMIC, but A/W is MUCH easier!! and just as cheap!

but if you do go with a fmic, here was my plan (crappy ms paint, sorry)
