Question transmission removel

Dose anybody know how to get a transmission out of a 79 monte. I can't ge one bolt on the driver side

I can't get one last bolt out on the driver side I have a 79 monty.

On some of these cars it makes it much easier if you remove the crossmember and let the rear of the trans drop down to get more room to reach that bolt. I havent had this problem with this model.

But before you do this I recomend putting the lower bolts on each side back in.

You might want to remove the dist. cap so it doesnt get cracked against the firewall.
