for rims...do i take it to a tire shop or can i do it at home.....or both?

what do you mean? to put them on? you should take them to a tire shop if they are aluminum so they can torque them down. Places around here offer free wheel retorquing if you buy the wheels through them.

If you've already got them mounted and balanced, I'd just do it yourself, save a little money. If you don't have them mounted/balanced, then it's prolly a real good idea that you go to a shop hehe.

I dropped my tires off at the shop to get tires put on but then I took the wheels back and put them on myselfs so they didn't use airtools and fuck up my wheels. You can do it yourself no problem. Just go back and check that they are tight after you drive like 25miles. But they should stay tight, mine still were.
