Exclamation 01 voyager blower motor

Does anyone know the procedure for replacing the blower motor. I have replaced the resistor 4 times since last sept and it blew again yesterday. I was told blower motor reisistance would cause this to happen. It gets closer everytime I replace it.

Re: 01 voyager blower motor

I did it on a 96 a while back. Disconnect the battery so you don't blow an airbag. Remove the glove box. You should now see the roundish blower motor housing. Remove the 4 screws on the black plastic case and remove. Remove the 3 or 4 bolts that secure the motor. Lower the motor and disconnect the connector. I would spend the 15 -20$ for a manual that tells you everything you need to know first.

Re: 01 voyager blower motor

Check the connector that attaches to the resistor, they are known to corrode also.

Why did you buy a $40K vehicle and not a $100 Factory Service Manual?
