Re: A couple of pics of my new 3kgt sl!

Heres two more...pics.
I love it so far! I just had the timing belt, drivebelt, new seals, and spark plugs put on. My next plan i suppose is to get an intake, testpipe, and solid engine motor mounts. Thanks for the comments!

No you dont. 3s leather seats are so much less comfortable than the cloth seats.

And the chrome SL wheels are a rare find. Those are only like the 10th set I have seen.

You know, not that I want to start an argument. But I've been in at least 15 3S, as I'm sure you have, and I honestly think the leather seats, with customizable lumbar support are 100% more comfortable then the cloth seats. Just my .02

Long trips, no way. Is almost a general consensus on 3si about it too. One of my buddys had to drive my car (because I was blitzed, ie drunk, out of my mind ) and he commented about how much more comfortable my seats were than his leathers. The cloths have a lumbar bar too. I keep mine about midway.

Re: A couple of pics of my new 3kgt sl!

I agree with Stealthee. To ME cloth is a LOT more comfy. I have spent a lot of time in both leather and cloth and I much preferr the cloth.

Re: A couple of pics of my new 3kgt sl!

I like my 8 way adjustable leather seats, just need some new leather as my drivers side is showing its age, although the seems are still intact. Only drawback to the leather is how it holds temperatures, if its hot your seat is hot, if its cold your seat is cold. Of course I can always get perferated leather and some seat warmers....

Re: A couple of pics of my new 3kgt sl!

I have never been in a leather 3S but from other cars I think cloth is more comfortable. When leather is cold its stiff a feels much colder and when its hot your back is just fried and it sticks to the seat.

Hmm, interesting. I havnt done any long trips in a cloth 3s, just short ones around town. But I honestly have no complaints with my leathers seats. I think they are one of the more comfortable stock car seats I've been in. Just my .02

Re: A couple of pics of my new 3kgt sl!

My leather seats are quite comfy. and of course its super cool to say... "Dude! Watch the leather!" haha. but seriously the cloth ones are prob a little better on long trips to me just because the will absorb some of the stickiness from sitting forever.

Real nice car man. As far as seats go I like my leather but i have never been in a cloth one so im a little biased.
