Arrow Lag in acceleration...problem

I find that there is a def. time lag between pressing the accelerator and the engine response that can be annoying and possibly dangerous when passing other vehicles. Is this normal? In the 2003 Q? Or is it something I should bring to the attention of my dealer.

Thanks

Re: Lag in acceleration...problem

There was a throttle pedal and ECU reprogram for the 2002, but shouldn't affect the 2003.

Re: Lag in acceleration...problem

I have a 2004 Q45 and have a similar throttle feel.

What I get is a rather flat resopnse in the middle range of the throttle travel. As the throttle is advanced futher the response seems greater.

I might explain it as a non-linear throttle response to the throttle pedel throw.

Re: Lag in acceleration...problem

what can I do to increase my engine response to the touch of the pedal?

2003 and later F50 have updated throttle and ECU.
