'06 Mustang GT

Revell '06 Mustang GT. Body painted Nissan Light Blue Metallic using Halfords automotive paint. Everything else painted with a combination of Halfords, Humbrol, Tamiya and Alclad paints.

This was my first Revell kit for a while and I was surprised at the quality of it. I'm not sure what they were smoking before writing the instructions (see stage 2 if you've got this kit) but I usually ignore most of it anyway! Most parts fitted well and it's got an engine too.

I lost one of the headlight (chrome) parts so I've put BMF on the inside on the lenses for now and I will revisit this if I ever find the part - another parts disappears into the carpet never to be found again!

Overall I was impressed with this kit and I'm pleased with the end result too. Anyone who went to Modelsport yesterday will have already seen it, but for everyone else, here's the pics....

I got mine in the UK off ebay - also seen one or two more there since.

It's shown on revell-europe's website as August 06 release, see link below, so I guess we may see it officially released here soon.....

PS - Could a mod move this thread back to the completed forum - Thanks
