1995 Regal GS....Brake/ABS warning light on
Hello all...
I have a '95 Regal that has the brake/abs warning lights on. It all started when my daughter who was learning to drive slammed the brakes very hard while backing up. The lights came on and would not go out. I had the brakes checked and replace the back pads and right side caliper, and discovered that the rear braked were not working at all. The fronts were doing all the work. I took it to my mechanic and they checked the fluid level, brake lines for leaks and decided it was a brake modulator ??? Has anyone heard or had this problem because I have not talked to anyone who had heard of this. Looking forward to hearing from someone who had same experience Thanks..........Chris |

Re: 1995 Regal GS....Brake/ABS warning light on
No magic here, have the car scanned with an abs function scanner for codes and look at comparative wheel speeds, for a sensor problem. How was the modulator determined to be a problem, BTW cut down your font size, thanks.

Re: 1995 Regal GS....Brake/ABS warning light on
i have a 94 regal and i have had issues with the ABS light coming on and staying on.. mine was easily fixed by replacing the sensors in my rear brakes... i would have to agree with maxwedge in saying get the sensors checked.
