1996 Jimmy wireing for trailer

I have a trailer hitch on my Jimmy and I bought a trailer for it. I was told ther is a place to plug in the lights without cuting any wires. any idea wher I might find this plug in.

Re: 1996 Jimmy wireing for trailer

Tucked up in between the frame and the inside of the license plate holder should be a wrapped up harness. Reach up in there and pull it down out. Mine was wrapped in tape or a big rubber band. It will unwrap to about 2 or 3 feet. It has the standard white, yellow, green, and brown wires and will hook to a flat 4 wire female to plug your standard trailer male into. On my '99 there was no plug. On my buddy's '96 there was a plug.
