Getting new engine and turbo. 2.2 or 2.4?

Alright im buying a new engine and putting a turbo on it, I have a 96 2.2, if i went with the 2.4 engine swap, what would I have to change? I also read in a previous topic that I could have the pistons bore'd out? But i want a turbo is that still safe? But more importantly, i just want to know what i would have to do to go from a 2.2 to 2.4, i havnt gotten or seen any clear answers for this question.
