Backup Camera System
I just purchased a 2000 chevy Impala Ls and am finding it rather difficult to guage the distance behind me due to the angle, high head rests for rear seats, spoiler, etc. I really don't feel like I have a great field of vision behind me. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with a backup camera system and if you could maybe lead me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance for any replies-Tim |

Re: Backup Camera System
go to http://crimestopper.com/ then click on safety then to platecam. I don't carry this system but I bought one for a special customer. He loves it. I also added a special rearview mirror that houses a 3" screen. When you are driving the mirror looks normal but when in reverse it turns into a TV screen.
It was pricey. I think I charged about $900 installed. There is also those beeping obstical sensors too. On the same link, click onto backstopper. That'll be less expensive. The only downside is drilling holes into your bumper.
