Throttle body spacers

I'm going to be installing a Airaid intake system on my ' 06 Silverado Vortec HO. Are the throttle body spacers unnecessary hype or is there a positive effect ? Thanks in advance.

Re: Throttle body spacers

Hmmm, I just did a search on this subject, should've did that before posting the above question, and it sounds like snake oil. I need to have a talk with this salesman about recommending crap that he SHOULD know doesn't work.

He is a salesman, it is his job to sell snake oil no matter what even if it is shit. Hell even if it was shit he was hired to sell, he is gonna do his best to sell that shit.
