GST VS. Swapped Civic.

After getting killed by a Z-28 we end up near this civic, all I see is exhaust, pilar pod with three gauges and windows that are dark as hell.

We start from a roll around 40mph and we both take off, turbo lag lets him get a abit of a jump and then I start pulling on him alittle, when we shut it down I am about a car length ahead.

As I go to where everyone meets up and start talking with a local DSMer tht runs 12's, the civic pulls up and I tell him about the rae. I said "he kept up pretty well for a civic." He then informed me that is was a motor swapped civic. The civic kid came up and I tol him I was basically stock except for turbo back and K&N filter, He got pissed and said I lieing.

Yeah since dsms are a low 15-high 14 car stock
Dsms with exhaust, fuel pump and mbc can easily be in the 13s.

Re: GST VS. Swapped Civic.

TD04 14B's came stock on the 1st gens, they are equilvanlent to a T3 size turbo. the 2nd gen DSM's came with a T25, and yes i've driven T25 powered car, and believe or not for some odd reason there still is some lag on them. but anyways good kill.
