CCX ~ The final stats! (Fastest Qt/time for a production car) (56KW)

Koenigsegg's tagline is "Spirit of Performance," and you'd have to say the CCX lives up to the hype - and then some.

Let's start with the engine, shall we? The DOHC, 4.7-liter aluminum V8 is built by Koenigsegg. Fitted with a dry sump system and twin superchargers, it puts out 806 hp at 6,900 rpm, and 678 ft-lb at 5,700 rpm. All that motivation gets you from 0-62 mph in 3.2 seconds, and through the standing quarter-mile in 9.9 seconds at 146 mph. Top speed is rated at "245 " mph... Power is handled by a custom 6-speed gearbox and a torque-sensitive limited slip differential.

Everything else is pretty much what you'd expect from an over the top supercar - carbon fiber semi-monocoque chassis, slippery carbon fiber/kevlar bodywork (Cd 0.3) with big downforce-generating undercar tunnels and a removable hardtop, double wishbone pushrod suspension all around, 6-piston disk brakes (or the optional 8-piston ceramics), and centerlock mag wheels (carbon/magnesium optional).

When performance is your money-is-no-object goal, the CCX will be high on your shopping list!

Re: CCX ~ The final stats! (Fastest Qt/time for a production car) (56KW)

i just saw this car on top gear, its fawking sickkkk!!! the rims were different on it though, and the lack of a wing caused the car to go off track, the stig messed up the whole bumper. SUpposedly they are not using the ford motor anymore, konigseeggg has their own engine now, and this thing has 806hp with twin superchargers.

I have herd that ford wouldn’t sell them the engine in the GT40 "Ford GT" so koenigsegg decided it was time to build there own engines.

That thing looks like it was designed for one thing.

Killing the owner.
