Looking for a keyless remote

Hey everyone.
We only got 1 remote with our car and the dealer searched through a box of remotes they had but didn't find one that would work, So I've been searching around and only found one source on Ebay that had them for $59.95 + $6.49 shipping. Is this a good price now a days for one?

This just cracked me up too (SUPER RARE) If they so "Rare" why do they have 49 of them? LMAO

I was told I had to find one with the same FCC ID as what I have. Which is "E4EG8DL" and this claims to be it.

So I thought I'd ask if anyone had a source for remotes with a better price or maybe had one laying around they'd want to sell? I found an older link in a forum search for some Mitsu dealer that said they were $25.00 + Shipping, but the link was dead.

I've aready found the links how to program one, I just need to find one now

I dont know how much they cost but you could try a google search and compare prices. Otherwise go to a car audio store like radio shack/car audio and see what they would charge for a remote. Good luck.

hmmm...used huh? but anyway, that price doesnt seem terrible. when my friend needed one for her jetta, VW charged her $100. but, like SL said, i would search around locally b4 buying one of those ebay ones...

This post http://www.3si.org/forum/showpost.ph...76&postcount=3 will tell you which remote you need. If it is the E4EG8DL then you can most likely get it at a better price. The early ones for late 92 to 95 are the rare ones and hard to find. Those ones I'd expect to pay at least $50 for.

KEYLESSRIDE.COM has them for like 110.00, I bought a replacement for another one of my cars on ebay and it was much cheaper and worked fine.
