New 2006 GTO or '03 Cobra?

Just like the title what do you guys think?

New '06 GTO or an '03-'04 Mustang Cobra?

Hmmm, thats a hard choice. I'd probably go for the 03 cobra. Its faster than the GTO for about the same price. Plus it's got the sexy whine

MUST go for '03 Cobra...unbelivably fun to drive, so many mods available, a one-sided choice!

Are you going for comfort or speed?
If you want speed get the cobra. They are quick out of the box and take to mods really well for little money. If you want comfort get the gto. Very comfortable interior! And great drive quality too!

Yeah, if you want something slower that needs mods drive a Ford. If you want something stock that will haul your a#@ and your partner without all the BS buy the GTO.

THe GTO has been running in the 13 flat zone with a tune form the factory...there are pig rich.

with that said..the interior is usberb and the car itself it M5 quality

now it the same price arises..a GTO a camed bolt oned GTO wil run 425 whp
and it will rull very well i assure you

or saveup strap a maggie on that ls2 and the conra won't know hat happened.

they are difffernt cars..

i had on 03 terminator with 507 wh...not a lick faster than my 405 GTO the 04 LS1 NA.....cause i soray...80 shot dy on the ls1 100-125 onthe 06

and its difffernt.......you could do some inexpensicve mods..(unlike me0 to make the GTO' look great....yeas great.

No comparison! Cobra is cute. GTO is honest-fast. My brother has a Cobra. It runs well, and is fun, but it's no match for GTO.

For the "nay sayers", go DRIVE ONE! And it takes a blower to make the Ford anywhere near as powerful. As another said, what would happen if you put the blower on GTO?

a 05-06 GTO vs a 03 04 cobra..

stock and the GTO has a tune......close run..closer than ou think.. both low low 13's and the ls2 has been know to frop into the high 12's just as the cobra'

Interior and comfort...all GTO...external looks....toos up the cobra looks mean..

Now i run a few more ponies..than stock....i don't like to use my spray.....only while hunting..( but when are we not) i nail down about 405 NA in the 04 and 477 na.. in the 06 b4 the squeeze


Anyone dogging the Terminator..one..doesn't knwo how to drive one....it aint a point and shoot car...and 2 is likely jealous.

i'm lookin forward to getiing another f body cause it represents.. a period...of the beginning of the new muscle car era.

It's easier to get a loan for a GTO.

You also won't have head tick, front pop, throw-out bearing, rearend, and alignment issues with the GTO.

I have 2006 GTO's and one is just a little modified with K&M cool air intake, corsa exhaust system and put on the Dyno for 456 RWHP. It does good with the 2002 - 06 Cobras. High end eats em up at top speeds... 177MPH

Now my other 2006 GTO is special to me and I don’t drive it. It only has 470 miles on the vehicle. It rides extremely comfortable compared to any boxy Mustang. The back seat is actually roomy in a GTO, unlike the Mustang. Don't get me wrong, I like Mustangs little town car with a lot of power. Don't get me wrong now, that's why G.M. built the car Revenge too rebukes the Mustang. They should have gone with it, because it is one sweet ride with a lot of awesome power. My "2006 Pontiac GTO REVENGE LINGENFELTER" is one of a kind and will get 0 to 60 in 3.8 sec. 530 WRHP. Now that was to be Pontiac's, "Revenge" to the Mustang.

I would say if you want good house power that is roomy and can be used for those long cross-country drivers, go with the GTO. If you just want a power house a beat the next car, well better think again, because there is always someone or something faster then you..
