Re: knocking in the heater

The only thing I could guess it would be is the blower motor? Does it make the noise with the blower turned off?

Metal sounds or water gurgling sound? This a 4.3 motor and S-10 Blazer?

Re: knocking in the heater

Is it a really loud noise? Does your heater still work? Things wear out and start to make noise I wouldnt really worry about it too much if it still works and isnt really that loud

Re: knocking in the heater

The heater fan always runs at low speeds when the car is on, I would try to disconect the fan motor and see if it still does it.
