1999 Nissan Maxima
I'm new & I could use some help. Where is the location of the Emissions Maintenance switch? So that I can reset it & turn off the " Service Engine Light".

Reset ECU by taking batt cable off for ½hour. Doesnt help if there somewhere is a real continuous faulty signal to ECU. Whattodo: - read this forum, use seek -feature - read the error codes, (go to free code-read at autozone?) try to figure out whattodo, (=dont listen autozone salesmen). - Educate uself by reading your Service manual; seek clic clic seek "Favorite Links", below. If u follow clic the links and read, Quite possibly you'll grow ol and wise and then, no need of help?

Re: 1999 Nissan Maxima
In most cases if you have check engine light on, there is usually a fualt in the system . You need to see what code it is, and address it.
