switching maf

I was thinking about my mass air flow sensor and a freind said I should put in a lt1 mass air flow unit in and the conections fit but I dk if it will be good for my car. I am driving a 3.4l dohc gtp. and is their a higher mass air flow unit out there?

Re: switching maf

there will be absolutely no advantage to this mod, unless you're going to run extremely high RPM's, install a performance tuned ECM, higher flow rate injectors, and a bigger throttle body. Your throttle response will actually decrease, because fuel flow is controlled by the ECM via injector pulse, not by the throttle body or mass air flow sensor.
