gas milage

ok so i know gas milage is gonna be bad, but im just wondering what you guys r getting in the v6 3.9l and the v8, whatever size engine it is, any years from 94 and newer, let me know what year, engine size, and your milage is if you would, im thinking of buying one and was just curious, thanks again

I got a 2001 regular cab short bed with the 318 v8 in it with a manual tranny and I get about 10.5-11.5 MPG

I have a 97 Ram 1500 with a 5.0L engine. I get 12 around town and 17 on the highway running 65mph. John M.

I don't recommend the six cylinders. They're gutless and just as hard on fuel as the eights.

A 5.2 is a good motor. Has just about as much power as a 5.9, and is better on fuel. Unbreakable if you even half-ass maintain it.

99 1500 4x4 5.2 14-16 at 70mph 17-20 at 55. Any load at all from my 12,000lb camper trailer to a small utility trailer I get 9mpg, no less no more. This motor is almost bulletproof. I have 116,000 and use no oil.
