Tail Light Opinions

does anyone know of some decent looking tail lights, its time for me to upgrade. Is altezza's the only thing out there that look decent, it seems to be the only thing i see

anybody have other ideas

You can get them from Mach V. The only thing that's keeping me back.. is that I actually like how the stock tail lights look. This is your car though, so this is what I would replace my stock lights with

I like the stock lights also. If its not illegal in your area I like the way the way black outs look. If your into the more altezza/euro look, there are some altezza's with carbon fiber backs(so it looks pretty much black except for the red dots) that I think look pretty good. Regardless of what you do I would paint the center piece to match your car.

Yeah, couple years ago we used to have two of our cars with front and back black outs. Looked hot, then the 5-0 started harrassing us about them. Man, I hate the police. Its like......the 2 requirements to be a state trooper in NC are: You have to be an asshole, and you have to have a tight fade. WTF.

Yeah, but anyways black outs are cool, but on your car I say Stock or those JDM looking ones with the amber corner. Me personally....euros disgust me

the amber corner ones are actually euros if you want to be technical, they are off of a euro spec eclipse

do a light smoke job on them, you can get them looking ruby red with about 4 coats of VHT Niteshades.

Altezzas are mega lame.

I agree with the niteshades. If i wouldnt have gotten into an accident in my truck i would still be sporting the niteshaded tails. Since i broke one in the accident im upgraded to LEDs. Still might give those a little niteshade though.

IMO, stock lights with painted center peice is your best bet, but then again your car is red, lol.

I once saw a black 2nd gen with all clear taillights, now THAT was hot.
