Re: crank walk

First off, welcome to the board.
Secondly, PLEASE SEARCH FIRST. This questions has been answered more times than probably any question. Basically, you can't fix crankwalk. The 7 bolt motors in the dsms 92-99 are more prone to crank walk than the 6 bolt motors 92 and under. Half way through the 92 they switched to 7bolts. Please go to the search menu and type in crank walk. I promise you will get results.

This guy claims to have fixed the problem in the 7 bolt motors, so you might talk to him if you need a rebuilt 7 bolt motor

Because when you read further down that page you will read this:

"MY 7 BOLT`S WILL HOLD UP AS GOOD AS THE 6 BOLT !!!. WE HAVE DONE A MODIFICATION FOR THE CRANK WALK / BLOWN THRUST PROBLEM ON THE 7 BOLT ENGINE."

Next time you want to be a smart ass read more than the first line. J/P.

Re: crank walk

I talked to this guy, he told me that if my motor crank walks, that he would replace it for free. So I guess you have nothing to loose
