Cool 98 Cutlass Dome Light

I recently installed a remote start on my wifes 98 Cutlass. During installation, I was using the lower dome light plug as a power source for my test lamp. Since then, the dome light will not work with the door or the keyless entry.

I have power to the the light plugs, and the lights work when I use a separate ground wire. The door AJAR light works on the dash, but I am not getting a ground for the lights to illuminate.

Any ideas would be great.

Thanks

Re: 98 Cutlass Dome Light

Well first thing is to warn you using a testlight. You should always use a DVM. Anyway, I'd just double check all the fuses. If you don't find anything, unhook the battery and let it reset and try it again.
