Exclamation Service Engine Soon Light

hi i have a little problem, ok so a while back a long while back my service engine light came on my Intrigue 1999, i had it reset, the guy said it might just be a bad sensor, k well a few weeks later it came back on, i had it reset it again, but the code read that there was a misfire in cilinder 4. Ok, so once i had it reset, i went up to where i usually get my oil changed and i got my fuel injectors flushed, the service engine light soon, never came on again till today, and that was a least a month ago. So now its on again and i have no idea what the problem is, im guessin its a bad spark plug or the sensor is just bad, i also checked my oil gauges and crap, my engine coolant and all of that, nothing seems to be wrong, but next time i get my oil changed i'll have it checked out, unless someone thinks on here i should sooner? But i really dont think its anything to be worried about. But im just seeing what everyone else thinks.

Re: Service Engine Soon Light

The easy (and cheap) thing to do is take it to an auto part store that reads the OBDII codes for free. They hook up a handheld machine to the car and printout the code for you. This way you ahve an idea of what is wrong instead of guessing.

Once you get the code, put it oup on this forum so others can give you better advice.
