can i get help about a 99 Lancer ?

I have a 1999 Lancer , 1.5 carburator engine, automatic transmition, the car travels an estimate of 7.5 km/L , if airconditioning is on it travels an estimate of 6.2 ! can anyone tell me what to do with my car to be economic ?
