one more time the hood question

do the civic/crx hoods match up? local shop offered me like 150 for a carbon hood he said for a crx but he didnt know if they were interchangeable

WTF are you talking about? the civic hoods are completely interchangable with the crx hoods and vice versa!!! grap the hood up and slap that bad boy on!!! can't beat the price!

really ??? I was told they dont fit right....I figured they would seeing as they are the exact same shape....but I thought I read somewhere they wouldnt.....I know the bumpers dont fit.....how bout fenders....do those work.

Yes they will. The CRX here came with the ZC as the only engine and the bonnet had the cam hump. People who have done the ZC/D16A swap in Australia generally swap the bonnet too for that little extra clearance.

I think there are issues swapping the bumpers though.

Civic/CRX are interchangable, you can not put a 4dr hood on a civic/CRX or vise versa

i looked at it today very filthy had a lot of dust on it. Upon closer inspection there were nicks on the part where the hood bumps up on the passenger side and a little in the front. He swears its never been used but there is bird poo on the front. Hhe said all i would have to do is get some kind of gel coat and it would clean up those scratches. Is it worth it to get the hood for 150 and try to clean it up. He said HAN auto trends made it are they any good?
