What a shitty week...

I want to kill people... The fucking Firebird blew up on me a few days ago and its officially dead... No clue what the hell to do with it now... As for the Talon... I had it apart for over a month and I just got it all back together this week so I could drive to work. Just in time for the Firebirds grand finaly... Now the fucking brand new stage 2 tranny is fucking up on me and I donno what the hell is going on... First it started as a little abnormal vibration when it was in neutral and it didn't like reverse. It slowly got worse and worse. I rebled the clutch line thinking it wasn't fully engaging and was just "chattering" and it still didn't help it. Now the vibrations are so bad that the car is undrivable as it now vibrates throughout the entire RPM range. It seriously feels like my car is gonna fall apart. To top it off, since I had gotten it running it likes to spike to about 15 or 16psi and blow intercooler pipes off. (t-25 still) Its driving me crazy cause I keep getting stranded without tools and having to gimp it home or use a swiss army knife and try to get the pipes on best I can. So I thought I would be smart and carry my tools with me. So this morning I'm installing my new steel shifter plate bushings and I decide to go around the country block for a test drive before I put the center console back together. Low and behold, I blow off an intercooler pipe and my tools are setting at home on the garage floor... Yeah, its really sucking. Then... When I almost get it back home, the antilock brakes go crazy and start kicking on and I can't stop to turn into my drive. Its a bright fucking sunny day out!! There is no snow or ice!!!

I HATE my DSM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So any ideas as to what the hell the vibrations are from? Do they sound like they are in the tranny or something else? Oh yeah, I also found out when I got back that my tranny is now leaking out all its fluid between the tranny and transfer case. Whenever I push the clutch in, the vibrations quit. Let the clutch back out and it just goes crazy... I'm really getting closer and closer to selling both of my cars and buying something else... Please help me... I love my Talon too much to part with it but yet I wanna drive it off a cliff right now.

Re: What a shitty week...

Well first off the leak between the transfer case and the tranny is probably the output shaft seal, either broken or missing. Did you break in he new trans? Call the shop and ask if it's normal, if not ask what to do usually they are pretty helpful (especially if they fucked up)

Re: What a shitty week...

Trust me... Not normal... I'm supposed to break the tranny in for the first couple hundred miles then I can beat on it... Its a shepherd tranny man, its not supposed to do that. lol Oh and BTW, I put it all in myself so I'm thinking that was a major problem too. lol

Actually, pr-ricer told me its my input shaft bearing so we're gonna give that a shot.
