Ebay intake

I know, Im an ebay fiend, but the ebay cold air intakes- yay or nay, I mean an alluminum tube with an air filter at the end is well, an alluminum tube with an air filter at the end right? But I cant find ones for my sohc only dohc any way to fit them on anyway?

Re: Ebay intake

i sold my DOCH intake system (stock) to a guy that had a SOHC. He emailed me back and said he couldnt believe that it was from a DOHC because it looks exactly identical to his old broken SOHC intake. Im pretty sure they are both the same.

Re: Ebay intake

no they arent the same. the sohc motor TB is parallel to the ground, while the DOHC TB is pointed upwards somewhat. and yay for ebay intakes. fuck name brands. the only thing that matters is the filter. not the tube. so get an ebay tube and stick a JWT popcharger or apex'i power intake on the end.

I mean ones that are like, cheap as hell...like most of those DOHC ones for like 15 bucks and then shipping is like 20 or so. I mean cant I go to a muffler shop and get them to bend a pipe to fit my car or around that price? what about these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/89-90...QQcmdZViewItem are they garbage?
