engine question
ok, so I am thinking of putting a d16z6 in my '91 hb. I already have the head and all the stuff for it. All I need is the block. What type of block should I get? A short block or long block. I've been searching for a good used one and some say short and some say long. Which would be best? What is the difference cuz I have no idea. Thanks

Re: engine question
Well Ive never looked into a short block, but I know a long block will come with the head, so I would say short...

Re: engine question
Ok, when they refer to "short" and "long" block, they are not referring to the length in the block, they refer to what comes with it. Since you have the head, you need to find a Short Block. if you can find a long block for cheap enough, i would go ahead and get a long block, doesn't hurt to have extra parts, or you could always sell the head
