I was wondering how much time and effort it would take to convert my 96 lt1 auto into a standard.

Re: Trany swap
It sounds like a lot of work. I dunno what it would take, but it seems like it would take a bit to do some of that stuff...

Re: Trany swap
Not sure as to how much time, money, an effort it would consume, but i do know that my buddy who had an 88 iroc did convert it to a t-5 5speed. So it wasnt impossible. I how ever am on a slightly different quest! This oll beat up 700R4 is nice but i was woundering if anoyone knew where to get a 400turbo for a nice price and if it was worth a swap?
