AN Fittings
Hey guys, I'm continuing to rebuild my engine, and I flushed out the oil cooler and I was thinking, instead of flushing\replacing the cooler lines, could I just convert the banjo bolts with AN fittings with some braided hoses and AN fittings on the stock oil cooler? My cousin has an abundance of AN stuff so i figured this would be cheaper.

Re: AN Fittings
Are you asking if you can replace just the fittings, but keep the stock lines?
I did a section on this in the FAQ. I replaced the banjo bolts with AN fittings, and then used SS braided lines to replace the stock lines, but kept the stock oil cooler and the stock location. It is covered in the FAQ. Now if you meant, just swapping the bolts for AN fittings, but keeping the stock lines, it wont happen.

Re: AN Fittings
I plan on replacing the entire lines and fittings just like you (great job btw) Do you remember exactly what length of tubing you got? After I spun a bearing, i'm taking all measures to keep my oil IN my engine lol.

You are going with option #2 in that post. Check out the link to stealth316, and read the tips I posted. It's an easy job if you do it the right way the first time.
