fiberglass eyelids

i am working on soem fiberglass eyelids for my buddy's tiburon and am havin some trouble making them. what i sthe best way to go about doing it. any info is greatly appericiated

made a mold of the headlights, then do your lay up in the mold. Take out and cut to shape.

yea, not a great idea. do what TheSilentChamber said. to make a mold, lay masking tape over the headlight (3M painters tape works best) and put down a layer of fiberglass on it (make sure to mask off bumper, hood etc.) once the mold dries, carefully remove it. you now have a mold of the headlight.

its easiest to remove your head light, mask off the entire headlight, use a sharpie on the tape to draw how you want your eyelid to look like, then lay down your glass. make sure that you have a place to attach your eyelid to the headlight (like a bolt that your headlight uses to attach to frame) make sure that you lay glass over the line of where you want your eyelids, you can always cut off the excess
