How does the window crank remove? I presume there's a snap ring or something to remove if you push in on the door panel hard enough?????
Any quick tips would be appreciated.... |

The older ones had a clip, yeah, there was a "spoon" they make that went down on either side of the shaft and pushes the clip off...I always just used a pair of small screwdrivers.

You can buy the tool for this for a couple of bucks at A_Z or Advance, but the cloth trick works too like Jonn said. You insert the towel from the handle side, as the ends of the clip face toward the crank handle on the shaft.
