Pos, Good for nothing, Sunroof..

First day it has 40+ and sunny here in Spokane this year! It's my day off, so I jump in my car to head to the bank. I open my sunroof before leaving the driveway and it wont open all the way! What the Fuck! so I "try" and close it, it wont coperate...

I know its going to rain this week, It never stops in Washington so I'm feeling at this point in my day relatively hostial..... So I fiddle with it a little, get my G/F to come out and use the button while I press on it. Won't budge! Gay..

From 11:30am-to-4pm on my only day off in 9 days and won't be having one until the 2nd, I spend my day taking my entire sunroof off and apart wondering WTF is going on. Ends up the driver side wire pushing the track snaped..... How the fuck I haven't a clue, those things are 1/4 in in diameter and could probably hold 2000 pounds..

WOW, long story short, the sunroof assembly is back on, closed, which was a mentally frustrating challange... In the nick-a-time too, It's raining... Fucking wasthington...

Re: Pos, Good for nothing, Sunroof..

Damn, I am also having problems with my sunroof. Sometimes like when I am going up hill it starts to close but, gets stuck. I either have to pull it a little bit or just wait till I start going downhill lol.

Re: Pos, Good for nothing, Sunroof..

Their is a long metal bar that runs across the top of your sunroof visor that have hooks on both sides designed to catch a clip on the sunroof rails and move the visor back while opening the sunroof. That clip can catch aginst a part of the visor that will make it stop and-or retract. One of the things I came in counter with durring the 8 trial installs of the sunroof assembly figuring out what will work and what wouldn't..

Re: Pos, Good for nothing, Sunroof..

When I get some $$ I'll head down to Mitsu parts and sit down with the guy and figure out just what parts I need... If i can just buy the wire or if I have to buy an new motor.. It will just depend on what's what..

Im graduating my day from gay.... to SUPER GAY!!

Re: Pos, Good for nothing, Sunroof..

My sunroof has been nothing but a pain in the ass. Everytime I get in my car and start it, the damn thing rattles like a mofo unless I push up on it a little so it sits different on the rails, and sometimes this dosn't even help. I would take it apart and fidget with it, but damn it's still cold outside...lol
