Re: Drilled Rotors???
Yep, you can get cracked rotors.

Re: Drilled Rotors???
Depends, some say the rotors/pads wear quicker and there's an increased chance in the rotor cracking, I'd get drilled and slotted for street use.

Re: Drilled Rotors???
I have brembo drilled/slotted rotors with ceramic pads. My previous stock rotors warped over time. If you go on ebay you can find a good price. The company I bought mine from buys brembo blank rotors then drills and slots them. They work great and look beautiful.

Re: Drilled Rotors???
Another drawback to drilling is less rotor material to act as a heatsink.
This frequently asked question is just one more that can be solved in the future by dsm-one (hopefully up soon). ll ll V

Re: Drilled Rotors???
Truthfully, I can't see the need for them (except looks
unless you are auto x ing, or drag racing (we use em to reduce rotational mass a bit . That's just my opinion. Like Nayr said, they have less material so they don't handle heat as well, there is material missing which makes them prone to crack after prolonged use, and they are not going to make your full weight street car stop any faster IMHO (some even claim it takes longer to stop after installing them). This is just my no offense to anyone, I know how sensitive you guys are (EMO ) J/K

Re: Drilled Rotors???
I got the Brembo replacement slotted/dimpled rotors with Axxis pads and stainless steel brake lines all from turboimport.com and I LOVE it. The pedal has a great feel to it, and they stop so smooth lol.
