Body lift kit

Im wondering whether I should get a body lift or not for my Blazer. I like the looks of a lifted truck but dont have enough money to go for the suspension lift.

How much work is it to install a body lift kit. I think my front bumper is welded on too, is this a problem? is there a gap guard to fix it or is the gap not going to be big enough to notice it.

Also any other problems anyone has had with a body lift would help....
